FLOWERS AND FRUITS. Exhibition brochure

Brochure for the Flowers and Fruits exhibition (26 October 2022 – 25 February 2023). 

Floral and fruit motifs have been a regular part of the imagery of the Banco de España since its foundation in 1782. Symbols such as the cornucopia – which has represented prosperity and generosity since ancient times – have frequently been used to decorate banknotes, share certificates and administrative documents. They also feature in the exterior and interior sculpture work of the bank's premises and in the stained-glass ceilings above some areas.
