PHD IN HISTORY OF ART FROM THE REY JUAN CARLOS I UNIVERSITY IN MADRID
In 2012, Roberto Díaz was awarded his PhD in History of Art from the Rey Juan Carlos I University in Madrid. He has published numerous articles about Joaquín Sorolla and photography and he curated the Sorolla y la otra imagen and Sorolla y la mirada fotográfica exhibitions in 2006 and 2007, respectively. He has been a technician at the Fundación Helga de Alvear in Cáceres since 2008, where he is cataloguing the collection and curating temporary exhibitions.
