María José Alonso

PHD IN HISTORY OF ART AND PROFESSOR OF CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION OF CULTURAL PROPERTY

María José Alonso has a PhD in History of Art and is a Professor of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property. She has worked with the Banco de España in cataloguing and conserving its historical and artistic heritage and for its temporary exhibitions in Madrid and Washington. Her notable publications include Arquitectura del Banco de España (2001) and Goya. His Time and the Bank of San Carlos (1998). She is a member of the Consejo Superior de Enseñanzas Artísticas [Spanish Art Teaching Council].
