Esperanza Guillén

Full Professor of History of Art at the University of Granada

Professor Guillén’s primary areas of research are the architecture of the 18th and 19th centuries, the history of aesthetic ideas, and painting from the Enlightenment to the early Avant-Garde. She has worked on numerous research projects under the National Plan and has headed two on art and emotions. She has published ten books as sole author, and has written over sixty articles and book chapters. She is the curator of the exhibition "The Architecture of Eduardo de Adaro and the Banco de España" and authored a monographic study on De Adaro, which was published in 2023.
