Clara Derrac was a Fulbright Scholar from 2019 to 2021. She holds MAs in Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies (Columbia University, New York) and Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture (Museo Reina Sofía). She has worked as a curator, researcher and writer at art centres in New York including the International Studio and Curatorial Program, the Public Art Fund and Socrates Sculpture Park. In Spain, she has worked at a number of institutions, including the Cervantes Institute, Matadero Madrid and the Museo Reina Sofia. She has written several scientific papers on contemporary art and critical theory.
