Cinta Krahe Noblett

Professor of East Asian Art. Autonomous University of Madrid

Dr Krahe holds a PhD from the University of Leiden, an MA in Chinese Art and Archaeology from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London) and a BA in Geography and History from the Complutense University of Madrid. She curated the exhibition Orientando la mirada. Arte asiático en las colecciones públicas madrileñas [Orienting the Eye. Asian art in Madrid’s public collections], at the Centro Cultural Conde Duque in Madrid, and was in charge of cataloguing and exhibiting Chinese porcelain from the wreck of the San Diego at the Naval Museum of Madrid. She has written two books, Chinese Porcelain in Habsburg Spain (Centro de Estudios de Europa Hispánica, Madrid, 2016) and La China Imperial 1506-1795 (Síntesis, Madrid, 2017), as well as numerous articles in Spanish and international scientific publications.
