Álvaro de los Ángeles works as an essayist, exhibition curator, publisher and teacher. He was the Deputy Director of Cultural Activities and Programmes at the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno —the IVAM— between 2014 and 2018. In 2018, he founded La documental edicions, a publishing project. He is interested in what is textual in images and what is visual in texts.
