COLECCIÓN BANCO DE ESPAÑA. Catálogo Razonado. Vol 3

This catalogue raisonné was published in 2019, to amend and expand on the catalogue of paintings published in 1985, which contained three hundred and twenty-two items. This new edition extends the scope of study to sculptures, drawings and photography. In the future, it is planned to further extend the work to cover the decorative arts and the bank's large print collection. The final result is a three-volume set reproducing over 1,400 works by almost 500 artists, reflecting the growth of the Bank's collection since the mid-1980s. The essential aim of this highly comprehensive study is to contribute to the dissemination, research, enjoyment and knowledge of this public collection by the general public, specialists and art lovers alike.

This volume is the second of two comprising the catalogue raisonné of the Banco de España's collection of contemporary art. It includes works dating from the mid-20th century to 2018, arranged in alphabetical order of the artists, from Carmen Laffón to Edwin Zwakman.There are biographical sketches of all the artists catalogued, as well as extensive textual and graphic documentation on their works in the collection.
