OPEN DOORS. VISIT THE BANCO DE ESPAÑA
The Banco de España has launched an 'Open Doors' initiative to share its artistic and architectural heritage more widely. Under the scheme, members of the public will have a chance to tour the most architecturally important areas of the bank's head offices and see some of the artworks that form the central core of its collection.

Guided tours on historical and artistic heritage, aimed at schools, groups and associations, accompanied by their own guide or teacher.

Group bookings: through a provisional booking made by the representative. Once your application has been received and confirmed, you will be asked for the details of all participants.
FAQ
Reservations
Yes, you must make a prior reservation. Tickets are non-transferable and are associated with the individual visitor.
During the booking process, visitors are asked to provide proof of identity, which will be linked to their ticket and must be shown on entry to the tour.
You can book a maximum of 4 tickets per reservation. If you want to acquire more, you will have to make a separate booking, subject to availability.
For groups, a total of 30 or 35 places can be booked.
Bookings cannot be altered or partially cancelled. If you need to make any changes to the list of participants, you will need to cancel the entire booking and then rebook the places once they become available.
Please bear in mind that it may take a few minutes for any freed-up places to appear again on the website. Given that there are many users waiting for vacancies, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to secure them again.
To change the date, you will need to cancel your booking and make a new one, subject to availability.
You can book a maximum of 4 tickets per reservation. If you need more places, you can make a new, additional booking via the website, subject to availability.

We do not currently have a waiting list. We recommend that you check the website regularly, as places may become available due to cancellations.
Access
No. For security reasons, only people whose details have been provided in advance on making the booking will be granted access.

We recommend that you arrive 10–15 minutes early to give you enough time to complete the security checks.

Yes, this is compulsory for all visitors. All adults must present a valid national identity card (DNI), foreign resident identity card (NIE) or passport (photocopies or photos on a mobile phone will not be accepted).
Yes, you can take photos, providing you do not use a flash.
The tour includes some sections with steps. However, an accessible alternative is available if necessary.
Only accredited guide dogs and other assistance dogs are allowed on the tours.
Yes. We have a left-luggage area at the entrance where you can leave the buggy/pushchair.
There are also lockers available for rucksacks, bags and other items.
